About Pastoral Care

Grace Episcopal Church's Pastoral Care Committee provides many important kindnesses for our Grace Church Family.

After Sunday worship services, members of the committee deliver altar flowers to the homes of members of the Church. On Christmas and Easter they do the same with holiday plants.

Twice a month, committee members visit parishioners who are homebound, ill, in nursing homes, or in a situation where a visit and some conversation is much appreciated. Pastoral Care also sends birthday cards and writes notes to acknowledge special occasions in Grace Church member's lives. These personalized touches make our Pastoral Care Committee a special group of individuals.

Our ministry is to visit shut-ins, deliver altar flowers and write note cards for appropriate occasions. New members are always welcome.

The Pastoral Care Committee works hand in hand with the Reverend  to keep abreast of the pastoral concerns of our Grace Church family.

Visitation Note

To assure the privacy of their new patients, strict rules are now being enforced by hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers regarding the disclosure of information about their patients.

If you, or a member of your family, should be hospitalized and would like a clergy visitation, it will now be your responsibility to contact the Church or specifically tell the hospital staff to notify us that you would like the Parish Priest to visit you at the hospital
