| We believe children are a vital part of our church community. The children of Grace Church participate regularly in the church services throughout the year. Our active Children's Music Program brings young voices to our services, and our popular Children Sundays give the children a chance to particpate fully in the service as lectors, greeters, ushers and more.
Our Curriculum
The goal of the curriculum we use at Grace Episcopal Church is to make the people of the Bible and the Church come alive for the children-- an approach consistent with the belief that Christian faith is nurtured through relationships.
Children in Kindergarten through Grade Five are taught using the Faith Weaver and God Prints programs.
The learner's materials are scripture based and age appropriate along with posters, patterns, maps, charts and other resources provided to the teacher which support and enhance each session. The focus of each classroom session will be to familiarize the students with specific scriptures and stories of the Bible, and relate them to the world around us today.
